A book lover’s struggle

A reader’s life shouldn’t be this difficult.

If you are a reader, tell me about the last book quote you loved.

Chances are that you don’t remember.

I don’t remember mine either. Right off the top of my head, I only remember the quote that I ended up putting in my WhatsApp bio. Because I loved it so much.

Forget book quotes! Even remembering book names is a task too tedious.

I hate the fact that I can’t just fire off book names when someone asks me about which ones I have read. It’s not because I haven’t read them, but because I can’t remember all their names.

To counter this, I am here with an amazing solution.

We have created an ultimate digital Reading Journal that solves this problem and many more.

A Digital Reading Journal will help you organize everything in your reading life.

This Journal is online. That means… you can access it ANYWHERE. Even from your phone.

Accessibility and ease of use are the hallmarks of this product.

What is a Digital Reading Journal?

A reader’s diary but better.

Physical diaries can get lost and are difficult to navigate. To find a certain page, you have to flip through all of it.

A Digital Reading Journal will help you organize everything in your reading life.

No, I am not kidding.

Not only you can add the books that you have read or want to read… You can also organize them based on author and genre.

Once you add all the details of a certain book, it will automatically appear in the relevant sections.

What’s more?

You can track your reading progress. Your Reading Journal will tell you how many books and pages you have read so far.

I mean… that sense of accomplishment is a treat in itself.

What are the main features?

The main feature of the reading Journal is organizing your book lists.

There is a section on the main page titled ‘My Books’. You can add a book anytime you want.

These books will be divided into ‘To Read’, ‘Reading’, and ‘Read’ categories.

When you add a book, you’ll get a list of details that you can add.

My favorite is the quotes feature.

For example: The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins

When you click ‘New’ you’ll be able to enter the book title and the author’s name along with other details.

My favorite is the quotes feature. Like I said, I forget them. But with this feature, you’ll have all your favorite quotes in one place.

You can add a list of quotes from the book you are adding. These quotes will appear in the ‘Quotes’ section on the main page automatically.

Adding Book Quotes

When I am reading a book, I get reminded of many things, whether it’s a story that my dad told me when I was a kid or my one-in-a-lifetime experience as an adult. I’d love to be able to remember how a particular book connects with my life.

For this, there is a ‘Notes’ section. You can add whatever you want in bullet form.

This will allow you to go back at any time to relive how a certain book made you feel. All without opening that particular book.

There is more…

Your Reading Journal comes with 15 premade genres. In the ‘Genre’ section, click on the genre you want, and the relevant books will come up. How cool is that!

Continuing from the example I gave above, the genre will be ‘Science’. When I click on Science in the Genre section, ‘Brief Answers to the Big Questions’ will appear in the list of books.

How cool is that!

You can also add more genres based on the books that you are adding.

Challenge yourself

The purpose of the Reading Journal is more than just organizing book lists.

We want you to become a lifelong reader.

Research shows that readers are more successful in their educational and career paths. Moreover, they are physically and mentally healthier and have a lower risk of committing crimes.

Who doesn’t want that?

That’s why I am committed to staying a reader for my whole life. I am also making sure that my kid falls in love with books too.

This Journal has a ‘Daily Log’ which is like a reader’s To-do list. Here you can add the number of pages you want to read. You can tick the checkbox when you’re done with your task.

If you aren’t a book reader, don’t fret. There is always a start. Perhaps the ‘Book Challenges’ feature will get you started on your road to greatness.

Through it, you can set timed challenges for yourself. These challenges will help you incorporate reading into your life.

Through the ‘Year at Glance’ page you can get a bird eye view of your year in the reading universe.

It will tell you all about the number of pages and books you’ve read and the challenges you’ve accomplished.

Remember, it is never too late to start.
